Mark O’Callaghan - Associate Tutor/Assessor

Mark joined the Police Crime Prevention Academy in June 2018 after serving for over 30 years in the Metropolitan Police service, primarily as a specialist crime prevention and designing out crime practitioner.

He holds an honours degree in Law from Liverpool University alongside qualifications in both training and workplace assessment, where he assesses both practical classroom work and candidates post-course portfolios of evidence.

Mark supports the overall objective of PCPA, to enhance the quality of the training provided to both the police service and other professional partners. He plays a key role in the production and delivery of accredited crime prevention, problem solving and designing out crime training, for a range of professional job roles.
