Staff from Policing and Community Safety Partnerships across Northern Ireland undertake crime prevention qualifications

Northern Ireland is making a significant investment in crime prevention, supporting staff from their Policing and Community Safety Partnerships (PCSPs) in obtaining a Level 3 Introduction to Crime Prevention Award, an accredited qualification delivered by the Police Crime Prevention Academy.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service have become some of the first to undertake a Level 5 Diploma in Crime Prevention – Designing Out Crime, part of the new generation of accredited qualifications in crime prevention and designing out crime provided by the Police Crime Prevention Academy.

The Police Crime Prevention Academy have been delivering their accredited crime prevention qualifications to police officers from across the UK this month.

Police Crime Prevention Initiatives (PCPI) Crime Prevention Academy have been working with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Crime Prevention Unit to provide delivery of the first accredited crime prevention qualification for PSNI officers and staff.
