Successful national delivery of the Level 4 crime prevention qualification

The Academy was delighted to welcome delegates from Cheshire Constabulary; Wiltshire Police; Devon and Cornwall Police; South Wales Police; Manchester City Council; Buckinghamshire Council; Telford & Wrekin Council and Hartlepool Borough Council onto the national delivery of the Level 4 Crime Prevention for Practitioners course. 

This is a national vocational qualification accredited by our awarding body ProQual and is the essential for those in a specialist police crime prevention role. Delegates from district and county councils joined police practitioners to access learning about the application of the problem solving process, security products, site security surveying, Environmental Visual Audits and managing crime prevention initiatives.  As part of the qualification, they are required to put their new knowledge into practice in their workplace and provide evidence of their actions to as part of the qualification.  The next national delivery of the Level 4 Crime Prevention for Practitioners qualification is in April/May 2023.
