The Academy is supporting members of the Safe & Well Team within Essex County Fire & Rescue Service (ECFS) to undertake the Level 3 crime prevention accredited qualification as a key element in the re-launch of the project.
The project Team Lead also co-ordinated the involvement of local representatives from partner agencies including Alzheimer’s Association to whom referrals are made and received by the project team members. The qualification is a national vocational qualification accredited by the awarding body ProQual and recognised by UK employers. It’s suited to those who provide practical crime advice as part of their role.
