Academy welcomes delegates onto a national Level 4 accredited crime prevention qualification

Nineteen delegates from across the UK and from a range of professional backgrounds have come together to undertake the Level 4 Certificate in Crime Prevention for Practitioners accredited qualification offered by the Academy.

The police forces represented included Avon & Somerset, Devon & Cornwall, Surrey, Thames Valley Police, Lancashire and the Police Service of Northern Ireland - they were joined by colleagues from local authorities including Sunderland City Council, Reading Borough Council, Buckinghamshire Council and City of Wolverhampton Council.  The Academy was particularly delighted to welcome a representative from the Bedfordshire Police Partnership Trust which supports a ‘bobby van’ service that helps to keep local communities safe.
